Her journey into osteopathy began after a life-changing motor vehicle accident that left her wheelchair-bound for several months. During her recovery, Marie was profoundly inspired by the body’s ability to heal, igniting a passion for understanding the human body. She returned to her studies with a renewed purpose, embarking on a career in osteopathy.
Marie brings a deep empathy and understanding to her practice, particularly attuned to the challenges and triumphs of adjusting to life after significant physical trauma. She is dedicated to helping her patients achieve their health goals through personalised care.
Her approach to osteopathy is centered on patient empowerment. Marie tailors hands-on treatments and provides comprehensive patient education, firmly believing that osteopathic care is not a one-size-fits-all solution. Her areas of interest include chronic pain management, acute and chronic sports injuries, overuse injuries, TMJ dysfunction, and the treatment of headaches and migraines. Marie ensures her patients feel informed, supported, and in control of their health.
In addition to her osteopathic qualifications, Marie is certified in trigger point dry needling, further enhancing her ability to offer comprehensive care.
Outside of her clinical practice, Marie enjoys spending quality time with her family, at the soccer, and exploring Melbourne’s vibrant culinary scene. She practices yoga, enjoys strength and conditioning training as well as Pilates, and has a passion for travel.
